Our client, a live music and events promoter, is seeking a Promoter Assistant. The role will involve working across contemporary and classic rock music and delivering tours/events in the UK.
Key responsibilities will include:
· Supporting the Promoter with administration, inbox and calendar management. This will also include meeting diaries, travel and other PA duties.
· Representing the Promoter at shows and events, and hosting guests at shows were needed.
· Handling client liaison and facilitating requests from agents/managers/suppliers in a timely manner.
· Coordinating guest lists and disseminating information on ticket collection.
· Supporting with researching venues, routing tours, collecting availabilities, and holding dates.
· Ensuring work permits for international artists for UK tours are in line with UKBA regulations.
· Collaborating with internal teams to ensure effective delivery of shows with the management of information on production and logistics.
· Updating databases and folders with the wider Promoting team with accurate data.
· Confirming shows with internal teams.
· Attending meetings regularly and contributing ideas for new events.
· Collaborating with the financial department to produce reporting on show’s financials. To include projections, reports and overseeing payments as required.
· Drafting show budgets, offers, projections and settlements.
· Regularly reviewing ticket sales and adjustments to promotional plans are made in line with ticket availability.
· Reporting sales figures to relevant artist representatives as required.
· Working across show marketing management, coordinating artwork, advertising materials, and ad campaigns.
· Where needed, book and deliver marketing events to include TV ads, posters, online and radio advertising.
· Supporting with the collection of national ad contributions from external promoters.
· Reporting on marketing activities to the relevant artist representatives as needed.
· Undertaking relevant duties as reasonably required.
Requirements:
· Live music experience and working knowledge of delivering events and concerts.
· Knowledge of rock music is advantageous.
· Commercial understanding of the music industry in the UK.
· High standards or written and spoken communication skills.
· Meticulous attention to detail.
· Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, to include Excel and Outlook.
· Able to use MS Excel for budgeting and financial representation.
· Expert level prioritisation skills, able to meet deadlines consistently.
· Willing to work in a fast-paced environment.
· Able to maintain good working relationships with external contacts in the wider music industry.
· Possess and understanding of how different parts of the industry work together.
