Our client, an award-winning experiential events company, is seeking a seasoned Promoter (Live Touring & Events) to work with one of the company’s flagship brands and be responsible for the commercial success of an internationally renowned artist.
Key responsibilities will include:
· Serving as the main point of contact with venues throughout the complete event arrangement.
· Sourcing and booking venues globally.
· Liaising with third party promoters and booking agents.
· Negotiating tour and venue deals.
· Processing contracts.
· Nurturing relationships with artist stakeholders.
· Facilitating artist management and development.
· Updating databases ands schedules with show information.
· Calculating profit and loss accounts for shows.
· Forecasting tour finances and budget setting.
Requirements:
· Substantial professional music industry experience within programming/promotion/management.
· Experience in live promotion essential, confident to manage over 100 shows a year.
· Demonstrable experience promoting large scale live music events.
· Willing to take ownership of the commercial success of events.
· Comfortable routing tours internationally.
· Authentic interests in live music/events and an understanding of live event production.
· Possess an understanding of event marketing within the live music sector.
· Understanding of touring logistics, ticketing, and event production.
· Competent to negotiate tour and venue deals.
· Robust negotiation skills.
· Willing to travel occasionally domestically and internationally.
· Highly organised and meticulous attention to detail.
· Experience with diary management.
· Strong written and verbal communication skills.
· Able to work autonomously and within a team.
· Able to manage budgets and forecast tour accounts for shows up to arena capacity.
· High level of numeracy and able to work with spreadsheets.
